I booked the car in for a check on why the battery was discharging when the vehicle wasn't used for a couple of weeks. It gives a low battery warning. You did nothing apart from noting a low battery reading. A 400 m trip was done and it should be ok

BMW - the vehicle, incorporates some bad design features: auto-dimming dashboard with no available control for the driver - dashboard dims at inappropriate times; reverse gear adjacent to 1st gear - very easy to engage the wrong gear. Vertu - fine.

Difficulties around a recall: 1 - Reasonable access to a courtesy vehicle with no premium for lower excess. 2 -Possibility of 1st visit just assessing parts and maybe need 2nd visit. 3 - Above led to driver collect and return with no feedback.
